I had stitches on my knuckle on my finger, it's healed now but hurts to bend they finger. is that from keeping it straight? how do i get it to go away

Time: You have kept your finger in one position and it needs to loosen up with exercise. That assumes there is no evidence of inflammation (heat, tenderness, swelling, redness). If there is go back to doctor asap.

Finger stiffness: If the laceration involved the proximal interphalangeal joint (middle knuckle in the finger) it is not uncommon for the scar to heal somewhat sick and give the appearance of the finger being bent. If you look at the palm side of the finger and it is straight i would massage the scar and work on motion at the digit. If the finger is truly bent and it is not in fact an illusion you may have a deep tendon injury that could require further treatment.
