Morning: The two together might make you drowsy.

Usually morning: Dosing times of ssris generally hinge on avoiding unwanted activation (stimulation) or sedation. Lexapro (escitalopram) tends not to be very activating or sedating, so it often doesn't matter when it's taken. Taking an ssri after eating is better, this helps avoid queasiness as a side-effect. Most people take Lexapro (escitalopram) in the morning, although if you prefer evening instead that's ok. Aim to be consistent.

Lexapro (escitalopram) schedule: Most ssri meds can cause vivid dreams, which can be quite distressing. One way to minimize the risk is to take the ssri in the am. However, it's impossible to predict ahead of time whether an ssri will cause you to feel more awake or more tired/sleepy if you take it in am. So, generally speaking it is a good idea to try in the am and if not tolerated, to switch to bedtime.
