Tell his doc: Some kids have a defect in the muscles which control eyelid elevation & closure. Why this occurs should be evaluated. If it continues your doc may need to provide guidance to you in keeping the eyes moist during sleep with eye drops/gel. Without the protection of the lids the eye surface may be compromised during sleep.
