I was diagnosed with cancer on 13 august, the source of which is unknown. the oncologist is seemingly not coming to my assistance and till now i'm waiting for his confirmation on when i can commence treatment. i have great pain on the left hip.

Likely pending tests: It is likely that your oncologist is waiting for pathology reports in order to put together a chemo regimen. Malignancies without an obvious primary are increasingly common, unfortunately. Keeping your primary care doc involved is critical at this point and both your GP and your oncologist should know if your hip pain so that the right plan will be implemented.
