Agree with Dr. P: If your child is menstruating, it is more than likely that she is iron deficient. It would not do any harm for her to take oral iron and multivitamins to address the likely iron deficiency. However, she should still see her doctor for an in-person assessment. She should also get HPV vaccination. Wish you and your daughter good health!
