? Anemia: She needs to see her doctor and have blood test done to see if she is anemic and needs to be given iron supplements. It is possible she also has gastritis or a stomach ulcer.

Your friend: It sounds like she may have anemia which would be explained by her headaches, she has those because of a low blood count. I would get her blood drawn so that her exact Hct will be known. She can take iron pills which would serve her well. But she is best cared for by a hematologist. Good luck taking care of her.
