There is no scientific studies to verify that claim; and it may be a choice or belief system effect is the report about Daith ear piercing. There may be psychical benefit for those who believe in it; however the risk is also there of infections and it could be painful.

There is absolutely NO evidence that "ear piercing" can control migraine headaches. But nearby injections of the Greater and Lesser Occipital Nerves bilaterally have been shown to be of value. Discuss whether this could be done.
