A member asked:

How does a vestibular migraine affect the inner ear? and can an vestibular migraine last a month non stop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vestibular migraine: Strange condition indeed. Unusual for it to last for longer than a few days, but certainly could recur, but a month of persistent symptoms is atypical and would wonder about something else. Nobody really knows for sure how migraines affect the inner ear, but probably in the same way as they cause other neurological symptoms via some change in blood vessels or changes in neuronal activity.
