I have had the same migraine for 18 days now & now experience sudden sharp piercing pain in my head that comes and goes it hurts how can i stop it?

More of the same: Your migraine is evolving. Those are called lancinating pains. They may be hard to take but they don't signify that anything is happening other than your migraine. You treat them by treating the migraine. Some have tried rapid-acting benzodiazepines but I'd stay clear of that.

Headache: You need to get checked. Headaches that are out of the normal should get checked. A headache of 18 days is not normal.
