Visit the Dr or E.R.: A person who has suicidal ideations (thoughts or plans), gestures, or attempts needs evaluation and treatment right away. The recommended way to get treatment is to visit an emergency room, by ambulance or by having a companion drive. In the US, the emergency phone number for an ambulance is 911. One can also find suicide prevention hotline numbers online, for her local area.

See doctor: Your symptoms are the result of a chemical imbalance in your brain. It is not a moral failing. There are effective medications to deal with your condition, but you need to take the first step in seeking help from a psychiatrist. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Wish you good health!
