Perioral dermatitis: It is hard to tell without seeing a photo, but it sounds like you have perioral dermatitis. This is a condition that can be treated by your dermatologist. Until you see them, you can try an otc Hydrocortisone cream. Also be careful not to get toothpaste on the skin around your mouth as it may exacerbate the problem.
