stabbing groin pain 3 years after hip surgery. what can i do?

Get eval: Groin pain generally is referred from the hip. Xrays should provide a screen to determine if there is local pathology or malfunction in the hip prosthesis. Typically anti inflammatories like ibuprofen are helpful for this type of pain .
