Pharyngitis?: Swelling of a lymph node in the neck can cause pressure on the nerves in that area. Is there an associated sore throat, sinus pressure or headaches. There may be an underlying infection that needs to be addressed. In which case, a visit to your Dr can yield a diagnosis and treatment. For relief, try cold packs and acetaminophen.
