Can folliculitis occur as one sole pimple or is it always a cluster? i have one small pimple with a course hair growing out.the hair isnt ingrown.how long for this to go away?

Can be single: Folliculitis can affect a single hair follicle.
Keep the area clean and dry. You may try warm fomentation to hasten the process of healing. If other follicles get infected, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
