Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Any abnormal bleeding warrants an evaluation. It would be prudent to see your doctor and ascertain if you need to see a chest specialist or a dentist.

Metal taste: Usually means you have a bleed somewhere. Could be anything from gum disease to TB to Covid-19 to lung disease, to oh so many other possibilities. You'll need to be examined by A General Physician or specialist Gastroenterologist or Pulmonologist,AND your General Dentist or a specialist Periodontist.
