Depends: How long before your surgery are you asking about ? Patients are general asked not to eat/drink or take any meds for 6 or more hours before surgery to avoid complications, The surgeon & anesthesiologist need to know what if any meds you have been taking so they don't complicate your procedure. Please clarify this with your doc.
