Toothbrush: The general recommendation is to replace the tooth brush (or the head on an electric toothbrush) every 3 months.

Every 3 months: Bristles begin to break down after that. Brush thoroughly but gently for 2 full minutes by the clock. Also floss or WaterPik daily to remove bacterial plaque that you can't reach with t'brush.
