Good day, i have suddenly lost my sense of smell and taste no matter how many times i try different scent of food i just don't smell or taste anything. i have been coughing for a day or two and currently taking vit c & d3 and coughing is gone.

Symptoms: This could be a from a number of causes but a mild case of COVID 19 is on that list. COVID 19 sx’s: dry cough, shortness of breath, chest tightness, nasal congestion, fever, headache, sore throat, feeling tired, loss of sense of taste/smell, decreased appetite, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, chills & muscle aches.

Test: If possible. You have symptoms that are described as common in coronavirus infection, without being specific to it. Talk to your doctor about possible testing in the area you live in and in order to better understand the origin of your symptoms. The fact that your cough is improving is good as you might have a mild case of a possible or otherwise specified infection.
