Loss of Taste and Smell are fairly common in Covid-19 infection, even if the senses come back after a day or two. One is probably recovering but for the sake of inadvertently exposing others to it, a Covid test, at this time, is appropriate. CDC/ WHO guidelines should still be followed.

These are symptoms associated with COVID 19 infection. Monitor your temperature, drink fluids and rest. Discuss testing with your PCP and arrange for testing locally. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, worsening or prolonged cough. Stay isolated for 14 days, 3 days without symptoms including fever, whichever is longer.
