Hi there. i am 54 years young and started my period. its about 10 days now. it stopped for 2 days and im back on. i did go for a pap smear which was negative to cancer. is this normal?

Perimenopause?: May be perimenopause or the early start of menopause. would consult with gyn or pcp who did pap smear for further instructions

PAP smear is not a sufficient test for abnormal bleeding. Wish you good health!
