You can monitor....: ...His health every day yourself by noting how well he's eating/drinking/voiding/stooling/sleeping. If he's doing all of that well, he's likely healthy. Knowing this does not take away the need for regular exams by your pediatrician. Doctor's monitor more complex things, like growth, developmental milestones, immunity, and screenings for a variety of problems that may develop.
