I believe i have low iron levels but cannot afford testing. what should i do?

Depends: Why are you low? A diet poor in red meats or iron containing foods might be low from diet, especially in a menstruating female. You could also be low from silent blood loss from a tumor in your intestines or other medical condition. Taking a simple OTC iron supplement might help if you are otherwise healthy.When/if you become concerned about why you feel "low" you can get evaluated.
