Hi there. i have been having some significant issues with a sense of motion sickness. i have allergies, and i think they were especially bad for the past few weeks. i have often been having a feeling of pressure in my ears and a sort of crunchy sound behind them when i swallow. the most acute issue lately is that i am getting motion sick really easily during my online video chats for work, or with family and friends. this wasn't a problem earlier this summer. motion sickness issues?

Inflammation: Inflammation in the eustachian canal (connect inner ear with nasopharynx) can result in the trapping of liquid in the inner ear and sinuses, resulting in the "crunchy" sound. Middle ear problems can lead to motion sickness. Try a decongestant and nasal saline washes to help clear the "fullness". Talk to a doctor if it persists or if you develop a fever or pain as it may have become infected.
