Should you take one prednisone shot if you are struggling with anxiety? how common are bad side effects? doctor gave it to me about 5 hours ago and am worried about it after it being administered.

Anxiety: High dose prednisone may accentuate anxiety,restlessness,irritability and sleeplessness due to a stress response. I would expect onset of these side effects by 5 hours but they can last many hours.
