Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, two items are worth mentioning, 1. repeat the test in a few weeks, 2. Check kidney function. In the interim, make sure that he drinks enough water so that his urine is mostly colorless.

Probably not: Your son seemed to have a regular check up and blood test(s) was done. Given elevated level of phosphorus without associated change in glucose, potassium, and calcium level, his elevated phosphorus level is likely insignificant. I would have his blood test repeated.
