Here are some ...: Ureaplasma urealyticum is considered as a fastidious & opportunistic organism "normally" residing in many sexually active but healthy young without symptoms, but has been known and blamed to cause male urethritis. and even vaginitis. In your clinical setting, it's reasonable to have him assessed and treat with the same antibiotic. Fore more specifics and controversy of this microorganism, ask Doc.
