COVID concerns: The medical facilities I have visited recently (including my own) take meticulous care when it comes to infection control. All of the providers are wearing masks. It might be hard to examine your eyes if you are wearing a face shield. Usually the dentist will give you glasses to wear (that cover more surface area) when they are working on you. Unless going to a COVID ward - don't need a ton.

Health care appts: The Drs you will visit are at greater risk of being infected by you than you are by them. Practitioner are employing extreme barrier precautions to safeguard both you and them. You are at greater risk talking to the neighbor that doesn't social distancing ce, or who wears his mask below his nose, or who doesn't wash his hands with appropriate frequency. Just follow your doctor's instructions.
