Yes: The nose is a very sensitive organ and since it is made of mostly cartilage, any pressure can be magnified. After Rhinoplasty it may take years for the cut nerves to heal. These nerves in the meantime may exhibit extra sensitivity to pressure and misinterpret it as pain. Avoid putting pressure on your nose tip.
