See a Dr: When an individual "rolls" their ankle, damage can be done not only to ligaments, soft tissue and muscle, but also to specific ankle bones. Your daughter should have an xray to rule out a fracture. Since fractures do not heal with just rest and frequently require fixation or casting, you should consult a Dr in person ASAP. The Dr can also do a thorough exam and determine the extent of the injury

Ankle sprain: Until you can have it Xrayed to rule our fracture, ice to the ankle for 20 min sessions every 1-2 hrs, elevate, ibuprofen and apply an Ace wrap until your doc or an urgent care doc can see her.
