With persistent flu symptoms and these symptoms she might need to be evaluated for pneumonia before the symptoms worsen. This could include COVID testing.

COVID 19 Sx's may include fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips, persistent significant chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.
