I have a burning sensation in my chest and a dry cough. my breathing is fine and i been experiencing these symptoms for about two weeks. i havent had the flu or covid within those two weeks. i was wondering what this might be?

Although there are many possibilities (including infection, or heart disease),a more common cause at your age is GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). Reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus or above can cause burning sensation in chest or throat, as well as dry cough. Often H2 blockers (ie. famotidine),or proton pump inhibitors (ie. omeprazole) can help if this is the case. See your doctor.
