Severe pain: You posted this on the Free Public Health Education site for HealthTap where we do not diagnosis, treat or refer. It sounds like you were discharged from a hospital or emergency room after receiving intravenous pain medication. I don't know anything about your back or chest pain. However, if this is a chronic issue, I agree with earlier recommendation to work with a pain specialist.
