The prednisone should be out of your system within another 3 days, altho the anti-inflammatory effect may linger. Cortisone shot depends on type: repo-medrol may stay in the system for several weeks depending on where it was injected. Please follow up with your doctor if your systems come back or if side effects persist or are severe.
