Many reasons: Passage of blood in the urine has many causes. The most common causes include an infection, stones or trauma. But may also be due to medications, cancer and congenital malformations or acquire malfunction.

Blood in the urine: It can be a number of different conditions. Urinary tract infection, stones, tumors in the urinary tract, etc, to name a few. Recommend seeing a provider to get the proper studies to determine the etiology of this.
