Remove dairy: Many children do not digest milk well of normally, water is good, Ask pediatrician about probiotics , that also often is helpful

Prune juice is good: I find that full strength prune juice given in 1 oz amounts 1-3 times a day will get most infants moving in 2-3 days. The fruit sugar in the juice is not well absorbed so it acts as a mild laxative. The quantity can be increased or decreased based on response over time.
