Dark urine: Dehydration causes constipation as well as dark urine. If you do not have any heart, liver or kidney problem, you should drink water and urine color should return to normal. Many foods like beets, berries, rhubarb and fava beans can cause brown urine, prune juice usually does not cause dark urine.
