What is constipation: This word means something different to different people. There is a great deal of variation in the frequency of stools between different babies and even for one baby. I've seen healthy children go two weeks without a stool! What is most important is how a child acts and eats. If stools are irregular but their character is normal this can be normal. But constipation can be a sign of serious illness
