My 5 year old has itchy toes at night during winter. there is no rash but a bit of swelling and redness. it's very uncomfortable for her and the colder the night the more itchy. she usually kicks her blankets off because of her itchy toes.

Topical steroid : She may have a dry skin condition and moisturization of the skin with a baby eczema cream several times per day is an important aspect of her management. Avoid immersion in water and apply an over the counter topical steroid two to three times daily for the next two weeks. If the condition worsens or persists, please see your pediatrician.
