It depends...: Normal sugar levels right after a meal should be Below 11.1 mmol/l or Below 200 mg/dl. At 2 hours after eating, your sugar levels should be Below 7.8 mmol/l or Below 140 mg/dl. If your sugars measure higher than this you have diabetes or your diabetes is not controlled. Talk to your Dr about prediabetes and to have a fasting blood glucose test as well as an HbA1c which measures long term control.
