Rash care: A reddened area with discharge could indicate a localized infection. Start with hydrogen peroxide or iodine wash to clean the area well. Once dry, apply antibiotic ointment 3 times a day and watch carefully for 24 hours. If the redness increases or spreads outward and the discharge continues see a Dr who may put you on oral antibiotics.
