For someone who has a history of atypical moles is it standard of care to remove every mole that looks atypical? my old dermatologist retired and the new one i saw wanted to remove 8 in total. there is no way my old dermatologist missed 8 bad guys.

Different views : Your old dermatologist had a better sense of how fast they were growing as he had monitored them for years, the new dermatologist has no way of telling and he has to make decisions on appearance, rather than dynamics.
