Orthodontic Consult: You obviously have already had an orthodontic consult with radiographs and a cephalometric analysis. The orthodontist who evaluated you has spent years training to be able to treat you. If you are questioning the need for sx, please see another orthodontist in your area for a second opinion, someone who can actually examine you. Numbers alone do not determine a dx or tx plan.

Class III: That's like saying "My temperature is 100.4 degrees. Does that mean I need a tonsillectomy?" While xRay measurements are important, a lot more goes into an Orthodontic diagnosis. Sounds like you have already seen an Orthodontist with years of specialty training and even more years of specialty practice, so you've taken the prudent 1st step. You can choose to follow advice or take data elsewhere.
