Side effects: Your Dr prescribed prednisone because the benefits outweighed the risks. Side effects include: Insomnia, mood changes, weight gain, acne, dry skin, bruising, slow wound healing, nausea/stomach pain, dizziness/headaches. Depending on how long you take the prednisone, you will either stop completely (short course) or be tapered off (longer course). Follow your Dr's instructions.
