Yes: Augmentin is generally considered safe in pregnancy, as safe as any antibiotic. Definitely safer than not treating the abscess! Hope you get well soon.

Safe. : What is unsafe is not treating the infection. If you have an abscessed tooth it will require either root canal treatment/crown or extraction/implant crown. Antibiotics will not cure a dental infection, only reduce the spread of the infection for as long as you are taking the pills. Once the pills stop, the infection comes roaring back.
