Hi there, i have a boil on my inner thigh. it isnt too big and not painful unless moderate pressure is applied. i dont really want to see a doctor at this point as i am working from home. what home remedies or treatments can i use?

Boil: Apply hot( not too hot) wet compresses in order to bring the boil to a head and effect drainage of pus. Clean the surrounding skin with rubbing alcohol to kill any staph bacteria. Keep the boil draining but cover with a nonsticking gauze and use paper tape to anchor it. See an MD if the boil doesn't drain, increases in size and pain level or if surrounding redness of skin develops.

Boil: Agree with earlier info as well as warm epsom salt soaks.
