How long can i expect pain relief for an ear infection to start? i started amoxicillin yesterday and ear drop antibiotics too just in case. the pain is still pretty bad.

Otitiis media: It takes at least 2-3 days for treatment to start to reduce pain from middle ear infection (otitis media) and probably a week or so to return to normal. Contact your doctor if pain isn't starting to improve before the weekend; or at any time if it's getting worse.
