48y.o. constipation sufferer with collicky sore burning pain in the rlq in the area of the ascending colon, sore when pushed lying down. had a colonoscopy 6mths ago, h.pylori test w/ultrasound-all fine. don't want a ct, would an mri help diagnosis?

Yes, it could.: The MRI will allow a good look at that part of the colon to rule in or out anything that appears swollen, out of place, or compressed to aid in helping to figure out what is causing the pain.
