Swollen Gingiva: Your best bet is to see a dentist. The ER will most likely just prescribe antibiotics which will not solve the issue. Call a dentist for an emergency appointment.

Poor choice: ER will only prescribe antibiotics and tell you to see a Dentist for treatment. It may not even be the best antibiotic for your problem. ER's are established to resolve medical, not dental, emergencies. Andyour insurance may not even pay for the visit. Find a Dentist quickly. Pus indicates a severe infection requiring immediate treatment.
