I'm a 35 yo male and i have a thyroid nodule. doc is going to perform a biopsy to check for cancer. my question is if it's negative will my surgeon still want to remove it or will he only remove it if it's cancerous? do thyroid nodules cause pain?

Thyroid nodule: Depending on the size he may totally remove it. It is unlikely to be cancer and nodules do not usually cause pain. Good Luck
