Blood sugars: Our blood sugar levels fluctuate. Maybe you had a carbohydrate rich meal for dinner. Maybe you ate dinner late. There are many factors that can create variations. If you are having markely elevated blood sugar reading you need to notify your provider.

A1c: Why are doing this? How high? Unless you are monitoring yourself due to type 1 diabetes, you may wish to rely on measuring A1c and if the level is 7 or less, you are maintaining good control, if you are diabetic. Wish you good health!
